Take a look around your home and think about its storage potential – if you can spot some awkward space crying for some storage attention, then perhaps now is the time to design and implement it.
More often than not, it’s the space under the stairs that’s often wasting space – but Shelfstore are to help you make the most of that space!
All you have to do is head on over to our online design wizard to create the perfect shelving to suit your home. Once you’ve gone through the enjoyable process of our design wizard and received your Shelfstore delivery – all that’s left to do is put your system together.
The one thing people can get confused about at this stage is assembling their wall attachments – therefore we thought we’d put together a simple step by step guide:
Step 1
When putting your shelving system into place (under the stairs in this case), you’ll need to start with the part of your shelving system that is closest to the lowest part of the stairs. You’ll obviously need to fix the smallest upright in place first and position the upright against the short slope of the stairs.
Then position the bracket against the wall and the upright – then you can mark the wall where it needs to be drilled.
Step 2
Drill the wall on the mark you have made and fix the wall bracket to the wall.
Step 3
Fix the wall bracket to the wall.
Step 4
Screw the small upright to the wall bracket
Then that’s your fist upright attached!
Next you’ll need to take a metal shelf support and clip this into the lowest pre-drilled guide holes on the upright. Next, clip a shelf to the metal support. This will guide you in the placement of the next upright. See video for more.
Attach the two uprights by clipping a shelf on the adjacent metal shelf supports.
Then all that’s left to do is space the shelves at your required levels, fixing your remaining uprights and follow the steps again.
Continue fixing the shelves at your desiered spacing until the shelving is complete (see image below).
