The Easter bank holiday is fast approaching, and soon the majority of us will have the extra two days off to do what we please. Whether you’ve chosen spend the days pottering around the garden or have a jam-packed schedule to keep the kids entertained – there’s no reason you can’t bring some of that seasonal spirit into your home.
To help give your home that spring like feel in time for Easter, we’ve put together some small subtle ideas to start considering…
Let there be light
As the temperatures start to increase, we encourage you to make the most of the sunlight. Welcome spring into your home by letting as much day light in as possible – pull your curtains back, have the windows open. There’s nothing better than the sweet smell of spring.
Embrace the botanical
If you’ve got the space for it, bring some of the outside in with a charming flower display – yellow tulips; daffodils are perfect for adding that sunny touch to your home. Not only are they a must have at this time of year but they make a perfect centre piece.
Pastel colours
If there’s any time to experiment with pastel tones and floral prints, spring is the time to do it! But you don’t need to go overboard with these shades to create a stunning seasonal display. All you have to do is consider your existing colours and choose decorations that will complement your existing scheme to brighten it up.
