If any holiday was made for kids it’s Easter – with its bunnies, egg hunts and countless supplies of chocolate.
Therefore it’s up to you as a parent to make the long bank holiday weekend a memorable one! To help you along the way we’ve put together some fun days out and activities for kids and sweet toothed adults alike…
Explore a child friendly free museum
Kids love learning about the natural forces that shape our plant and the effect we have on it. Take them somewhere that they can enjoy exploring – whether you’ve chosen the natural history museum, the science museum or the Horniman Museum in London – you’re guaranteed to have a fun family day out.
Take part in an Easter egg hunt
An egg hunt is one of the best Easter games for all the family – you could host one in your own back garden or go to an organised one. There are many events about, just take a look on the Cadbury website to find one near you. However we would fully recommend having your own. Just arm everyone with an Easter basket and get them to go hunt out those eggs!
Day out with the kids.co.uk
If you don’t already know about this website – then we urge you to explore it now. It’s full of great ideas that will get you and the kids out of the house. And the beauty of it that you can pretty much find anything to do in any location – all you have to do is pick the right region.
So there you have it – plenty of ideas to keep you going throughout the Easter break. Best of luck and happy Easter!
